Sub-Committees -We have two active sub-committees which are committed to preservation of the artistic and historical traditions of our community. The Artisans of Sugar Loaf, (ASL), which works to preserve and promote the artistic community, and The Sugar Loaf Community Vision Committee. The Vision Committee is actively working on restoration of the village, currently developing a Master Plan for the main street, which will help implement updated sidewalks, lighting, infrastructure issues, and address public safety issues including handicapped accessibility. |
We are very interested in preserving Sugar Loaf Mountain and surrounding areas, and hope to discourage saturation by new housing developments. We want to protect Sugar Loaf Mountain for all future generations.
